• Post content relevant to data recovery, storage technology, and related fields
• Use the appropriate board or category for your content
• Avoid off-topic discussions, spam, or self-promotion unrelated to the community

3. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately:

• Malware, ransomware, or any malicious software
• Pirated software, cracked tools, or license key generators
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Illegal content of any kind
• Spam, phishing links, or deceptive content
• Pornographic, violent, or otherwise offensive material
• Personal information of others (doxxing)

4. Data Recovery Ethics

This is critically important for our community:

• Only recover your own data. Do not request or offer help recovering data from devices you do not own or have legal authorization to access.
• Requests to recover data from a former employee's device, an ex-partner's phone, or any device belonging to another person without their explicit consent are prohibited and will be removed.
• If you are a professional data recovery service provider, you must verify that your client has legal ownership or authorization before proceeding.
• Do not share techniques specifically designed to bypass device security, encryption, or access controls for unauthorized purposes.

5. Commercial Activity

• Vendors may promote their products and services in designated areas only
• All commercial claims must be truthful and verifiable
• Fake reviews, astroturfing, or misleading endorsements are prohibited
• Price gouging or deceptive pricing practices are not allowed

6. Product Reviews & Criticism

• Honest reviews and criticism of products and services are encouraged
• Reviews must be based on actual experience
• Clearly distinguish between facts and opinions
• Do not make knowingly false statements about any product or company

7. Intellectual Property

• Respect copyright and intellectual property rights
• When sharing others' content, provide proper attribution
• If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please see our DMCA Policy

8. Enforcement

Violations of these guidelines may result in:

• Content removal without notice
• Temporary or permanent account suspension
• Reporting to law enforcement if illegal activity is suspected

Moderators have final discretion on enforcement actions. If you believe a decision was made in error, you may appeal by contacting the administrator.

9. Reporting

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, please use the report function on the post or contact the administrator directly. We review all reports and take appropriate action.
