1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AboutDisk Hub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. The Platform is operated by Abaodisk LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company registered in the United States.

2. Service Description

AboutDisk Hub is a data recovery technology community platform offering forum discussions, technical articles, resource downloads, online tools, blogs, and a shop. The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
  • You must register an account to use certain features (posting, commenting, purchasing, etc.)
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
  • Each person may only register one account; account sharing is prohibited
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these Terms

4. User Content

  • You retain intellectual property rights to content you publish (posts, articles, comments, etc.)
  • You grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content in connection with the Platform
  • You represent that you have the right to publish any content you submit
  • Publishing illegal, infringing, malicious software, or spam content is prohibited
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies without prior notice
  • You must comply with our Community Guidelines

5. Copyright & DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, please refer to our DMCA Policy for instructions on filing a takedown notice.

Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated in accordance with our DMCA Policy.

6. Paid Services

  • Some content and services require payment (paid articles, shop products, VIP sections, blog subscriptions, etc.)
  • All prices are displayed in the applicable currency on the page
  • Digital content is non-refundable once purchased, except for quality issues
  • Physical products are handled according to the shop return and exchange policy
  • Blog subscription revenue is shared between the author (81%) and the Platform (19%)
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

7. Prohibited Activities

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or Platform systems
  • Using the Platform to distribute malware, viruses, or other harmful code
  • Scraping, crawling, or automated data collection without permission
  • Circumventing any access restrictions or security measures
  • Using the Platform for any illegal purpose
  • Impersonating another person or entity

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Technical articles and discussions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice
  • Data recovery operations carry inherent risks; users assume full responsibility for outcomes
  • We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of user-published content
  • THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE PLATFORM AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Platform, its operator, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in the State of Wyoming, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via on-site notifications or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Platform.
